올해로 23회를 맞는 국내 최대 규모의 아트페어 Kiaf SEOUL 2024는 9월 4일 VIP프리뷰를 시작으로 8일까지 코엑스에서 개최됩니다. 전세계 21개국에서 206개의 갤러리가 한 자리에 모이는 이번 Kiaf에서는 국내 미술시장을 견인하는 130여개 국내 갤러리와 70여개 해외 갤러리가 참가하여 미술시장의 소통과 교류를 촉진하고 신진 인재를 육성합니다.
165개의 국내외 유수 갤러리를 만나볼 수 있는 GALLERIES 섹션, 단일 작가의 작품을 선보이는 SOLO 섹션, 실험적인 신진작가의 작품 위주로 구성된 신생 갤러리를 만나볼 수 있는 PLUS 섹션까지 놓치지 마시기 바랍니다.
단순히 그림을 사고 파는 장터에서 멈추지 않고 그 이상의 예술적 감동과 가치를 전할 때 아트페어는 비로소 사람을 불러모으는 축제가 됩니다. 올해 키아프는 이승아 큐레이터와 함께 행사장 전체를 넘나드는 파격적인 형식의 특별전 'Kiaf onSITE : 보이지 않는 전환점'을 통해 올해 가장 주목할 만한 혁신적인 작품들을 소개합니다.
Celebrating its 23rd edition this year, Korea's largest art fair, Kiaf SEOUL 2024, will be held at COEX from September 4th to 8th, starting with the VIP preview. This year's Kiaf brings together 206 galleries from 21 countries worldwide, including over 130 domestic galleries driving the Korean art market and more than 70 international galleries. It aims to promote communication and exchange in the art market and foster young talents.
Don't miss the GALLERIES section, where you can meet 165 galleries including internationally renowed galleries, the SOLO section, where galleries present artworks of a single artist, and the PLUS section, where you will encounter 27 emerging galleries showcasing the vibrancy of experimental emerging artists.
An art fair transforms into a vibrant festival that unites individuals as it communicates deep artistic inspiration and enduring values that surpass mere commercial transactions. This year, Kiaf ambitiously presents the special exhibition 'Kiaf onSITE : Invisible Transitions', curated by SEungah Lee, which goes beyond the traditional boundaries of the venue, creating a captivating and unique experience.
