SeMA 옴니버스 《제9행성》은 서울시립미술관 소장품을 중심으로 동시대미술에 함축된 비인간 존재에 주목하며 인간 중심적 관점을 벗어난 ‘행성적 사유’를 통해 다양한 존재들의 공존 가능성과 공생 방식을 모색한다. 이 전시는 행성의 모든 존재들을 평등하게 바라보는 행성적 사유를 기반으로 인간과 비인간의 상호작용과 연결을 다채롭게 그려내는 참여작가 9인의 작품 15점을 선보인다.
Centering around the Seoul Museum of Art collection, Planet Nine focuses on the non-human beings implied in contemporary art. The exhibition explores the possibility of coexistence and symbiosis of various beings through planetary thinking, breaking away from anthropocentric perspectives. The exhibition presents 15 works by nine artists that diversely depict the interactions and connections between humans and non-humans. The works are based on planetary thinking, which views all beings on the planet as equal.
