In ALIVE, fabric and metal—two materials with different properties—pull and hold each other in tension. In synch with the weather and wind, the piece inflates and deflates, as if breathing, presenting itself as a unified entity whose inside and outside are indistinguishable. Through this piece, the artist seeks to transcend binary divisions and anthropocentric perspectives, and wish for the wellness of all beings.

작품은 패브릭과 금속이라는 서로 다른 물성을 지닌 소재를 사용해 서로를 당기고 붙잡으며 긴장감을 유지한다. 변화하는 날씨와 공기의 흐름에 따라 단단하지만 유연하게 호흡하듯 부풀고 꺼지면서 안팎이 뒤섞인 일체화된 하나의 존재로써 드러난다. 작가는 이 작품을 통해 모든 이분법적 구분이나 인간 중심의 세계를 넘어 모든 존재의 안녕을 기원하고자 한다.
